Capstone® MicroTurbines

Capstone Turbine Corporation is the world leader in the manufacture of clean, air bearing based turbo machinery designed for stationary power generation, hybrid vehicles, and renewable methane to power applications.  Capstone’s turbines are the core Power Modules in all ReliaFlex applications. Thermal Modules

Harvesting the exhaust energy from the power modules provides customers high fuel to energy conversion ratios to drive down energy costs and to augment existing heating systems.  A variety of configurations are available for providing low and high temperature hot water or steam for heating or process applications.

Chilled Water Modules

The use of best-in-class Thermax® based absorption chilling technology allows ReliaFlex systems to provide chilled water without the use of electric energy for compression.  Chilled Water Modules can either replace or augment existing Direct Expansion (DX) or traditional chilled water systems for a variety of applications.

Switchgears

Electrical switchgear, including special transfer switches, are normally included as part of a ReliaFlex package to avoid unnecessary additional engineering expense related to unique applications. By providing switchgear as part of an integrated package, a ReliaFlex system increases system reliability and performance.

Electrical/HVAC Control Systems

In many instances, a ReliaFlex system can include more traditional electric chilling equipment, boilers, and air handling units, such that the power system can fulfill all the customer needs for heating, cooling, and electric power.
